The Battery Data Hub platform supports collaborative research, development, and demonstration for cross-program advancement of electrochemical energy storage cells and systems. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, this repository addresses a critical need for high-quality and robust open-source data to inform physics-based machine learning for design and life prediction of advanced batteries.
The Battery Data Hub allows organizations to upload, archive, and share data securely among individual project teams for rapid data analysis, reporting, and knowledge transfer. When appropriate, selected datasets can be made publicly available. The data hub is a moderate enclave, protecting proprietary data behind two-factor authentication.
About this PlatformIt is built upon the Energy Materials Network (EMN) platform using the CKAN open-source data management system. Common EMN analysis tools enable rapid analysis, reporting, and transfer learning across programs, organizations, and technology readiness levels.
